YOU’RE INVITED TO JOIN THE MAYOR AND SGT GRIMES

 

Indianapolis Mayor Ballard and Sgt. Grimes of the Indianapolis Police Department are scheduled to help coach the PSC Rec Academy sessions Tuesday, 9/7.  They will run a couple games that have a human development theme, i.e. Sgt Grimes will run Red Light, Green Light and ask the players to show respect for police.  Mayor Ballard will run “Clean Up Your Yard” (clear one side of the field of soccer balls) and ask the players to help the family keep its yard clean.

For this special occasion Tuesday 9/7, ALL U6 AND U7 PLAYERS ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE U5 PLAYERS 5:45pm to 6:45pm.  And all U10 and U12 players are invited to join the U8 players 6:45pm-7:45pm.  The rest of the Academy schedule remains as scheduled (below and posted). 

If you're already registered for Fall 2010 u5-u12 Community Rec program, great!  Teams will soon be formed to play seven Saturday morning games 9/18/10 - 10/30/10 and one weeknight game week of 9/27/10 - 9/30/10 at 6:00 p.m.  Look for emails about THE REC ACADEMY TRAINING SESSIONS run by Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame member PSC Soccer Director Dan Kapsalis.  See below or click here for the days/times for each age group Academy session:  http://www.pikeyouthsoccerclub.org/newsrecadademy.html

Already registered for Fall u5-u12 Community Rec program? You are invited to BRING A FRIEND with you to the first Academy training session. Your friend will be welcome to participate in the training session and to register to play right there on the side of the field. See Carol in the REGISTRATION TENT near the Snack Bar.
Free and included with Fall 2010 Registration.
All players and coaches attend.

Training at the Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex South just north of the snack bar.
Training led by Dan Kapsalis, PSC's Soccer Director and or age group lead coach.
Additional professional travel coaches will help with each session.
These training sessions are free-included in Fall 2010 registration fees.

Indy Burn 2010-2011 Team Formation and Player Evaluations
Want to know if there is an opening on an Indy Burn u9-u19 team or results of Evaluations?  Call Coach. 
If you are looking for a good team call the Coach to learn if there are any open roster spots.  Teams with open spot(s) include:  u15 girls, u19 boys State Cup team.  Academy u8-u9-u10 teams accept all qualified players through League registration deadline.
